Learn the lost art of traditional bow making in this hands-on Stick Bow 101 class—where raw materials become a lethal, elegant tool you built with your own hands. Starting with a hickory stave, you’ll carve, tiller, and shape a true self bow, then construct your own bowstring from scratch. No shortcuts. No kits. Just skill, sweat, and steel.

You’ll also build two custom rivercane arrows, tuned to your bow, before putting everything to the test in a 3D target shoot that proves capability—not theory. This is primitive archery done right.

As part of course attendance, every student receives a Custom HFS Choppa—the same field-proven blade you’ll use throughout the class for bow construction and resource processing. It’s not a souvenir; it’s a working tool you’ll take home and trust for years.
